Immerse yourself in culture at Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and National Museum of Contemporary Art, or enjoy the colourful marine life at Oceanarium. Take a vintage tram ride through the city's cobbled streets, admiring Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower on the way. Haggle for bargains at the lively Thieves Market, or explore designer shops on Rua do Carmo, Rua Garrett and Avenida da Liberdade.

Bilbao, Spain
Discover the cosmopolitan Basque city and lively port of Bilbao. Surrounded by verdant green mountains, this city in northern Spain is home to the breathtaking modern and contemporary art at the Guggenheim Museum. Sample authentic tapas dishes in the family-run restaurants that line Casco Viejo, Bilbao's vibrant old quarter, and shop for handmade souvenirs at quirky independent boutiques. The modern transport links provide easy access to the two other capitals of the Basque Country — Vitoria and San Sebastián.

Le Verdon (Bordeaux), France
The port city of Bordeaux sits on the Garonne Rive in south-western France, at the heart one of the country's wine-growing regions. Take a stroll around the UNESCO listed Old Town and climb the 229 steps of Pey-Berland Tower at Gothic Cathedrale Saint-Andre. Stop by Place de la Bourse – home to the Miroir d'Eau reflecting pool and the Three Graces fountain. Escape to the tranquil surroundings of Jardin Botanique de Bordeaux or admire the artworks at Musee des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Discover all things wine-related at La Cite du Vin cultural centre, before following one of the six wine routes through Bordeaux Wine Country.

Lorient, France
In the Second World War, Lorient was targeted by Allied bombing raids. As a result, the city was rebuilt and today you notice a lot of 1950s architecture. Many of the buildings in the city are relics of the days when the French Navy had a large base; including an 18th century watchtower and two windmills. Visit the Keroman Submarine Base, one of Germany's most important Second World War boat bases, and discover Lorient's importance in the war. Close to the harbour there is a museum and exhibition where you can find out more about the historical shipbuilding and fishing port. Adventure to Scorff Valley and Blavet Valley and enjoy picturesque countryside surroundings.

Ambition will carry up to 1,200 passengers to give her a true sense of comfort and space in her 714 cabins, 125 of which have balconies and 113 are suites with up to 62m2 of living space.
Her dining options will inspire you with two main restaurants, speciality dining options*, and a more casual bistro style café. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink in one of her four bars, lounges and pub. Or take in a show in the a tiered main theatre, or discover your hidden talents casino, card room, library, and craft studio.
Other facilities include the wellness centre, gym, two swimming pools and a range of retail shops, perfect for days at sea.

Dining with Ambassador is always tailored to you, but exceptional service, authentic flavours and cherry-on-top surroundings are guaranteed each and every meal.
