Rhine Gorge, Rüdesheim

Visit Wurzburg Cathedral, dedicated to the Irish martyr St Kilian, before stopping by Museum im Kulturspeicher to admire modern artworks. Bamberg, Germany
The UNESCO World Heritage site of Bamberg in northern Bavaria is a charming medieval town with more than 2,400 listed buildings and one the largest preserved old town quarters in Europe. Bamberg Cathedral, Old Town Hall, Neue Residenz and its rose gardens, and Michelsberg Abbey bring the town's heritage to life. Head down to the river to visit 'Little Venice' and its 19th-century fishermen's houses. With nine breweries in Bamberg — producing more than 50 different draught beers — you can't head back to your ship without sampling at least a glass or two!

Nuremberg, Germany
The historic city of Nuremberg sits in central Germany. Visit the 900-year-old ramparts at Imperial Castle and head to Justice Palace where the famous War Crimes Tribunal was held in 1946. Discover the city's cultural history at Germanishches Nationalmuseum and the Way of Human Rights. Explore the fascinating labyrinth of underground vaults and passageways at Felsengange und Lochgefangnisse, or stroll around the Schoner Brunnen fountain and Frauenkirche church at Hauptmarkt square. You can also journey to the Nazi party rally grounds and take a self-guided tour of the WWII Documentation Centre.

Regensburg, Germany
Step ashore at the beautifully-preserved Bavarian city of Regensburg on the shores of the Danube River in southeast Germany. The old town area of this 2,000-year-old city boasts UNESCO World Heritage site status. Visit Porta Praetoria at Castra Regina Fortress, Dome St Peter, and Schottenkirche St Jakob. Take a walk along the 310-metre, 12th-century Stone Bridge for the best views of Regensburg and visit the artefacts at Bridge Tower Museum. You can also escape to the tranquil setting of Herzogspark with its botanical garden, medieval Prebrunnturm tower, and moat.

Passau, Germany
The German city of Passau — which lies at the confluence of the Danube, Ilz and Inn rivers — is your next port of call. Also known as the 'Three Rivers City', Passau is dominated by the 13th-century hilltop Veste Oberhaus fortress with its city museum and observation tower. Meander through the cobbled streets of the Baroque-style old town district, exploring City Hall, New Bishop's Residence, and the mix of handicraft shops and galleries en-route. No visit here would be complete without calling at St Stephen's Cathedral to admire the 17,774-piped organ and distinctive onion-domed towers.

Melk, Austria
Melk sits at the heart of Austria's wine-growing region. This Baroque-style town — found on the banks of Danube River west of Vienna — is dominated by the 900-year old Melk Abbey with its gold leaf walls, 640-foot Imperial Corridor, and fresco ceilings. Stroll through Old Town Melk and discover the Lebzelterhaus, Rathaus, and the Coronation of Our Lady statue. Climb up to the pilgrimage church of Maria Taferi for stunning views of the Danube Valley below. To the south of Melk you can explore Renaissance Schloss Schallaburg and to the northeast is the Servite monastery of Maria Langegg in the town of Aggsbach-Dorf.

Swiss operated and truly world-class, we are absolutely delighted to present the five-star MS Oscar Wilde. It is extremely difficult to convey just how extraordinary this outstanding ship really is and exactly what distinguishes it from similar vessels. It would be very easy to just say ‘luxurious’ but it’s much more than that; we have deliberately avoided the current trend for a minimalist style where you could be anywhere in the world, creating instead a unique yet exquisite blend of understated taste, style and elegance at the highest level. Immediately striking is just how exceptionally spacious this new vessel is as you enter a gleaming, richly coloured marble-floored lobby flooded with natural light from a stunning atrium above. Moving inside, exceptional creativity from Europe’s finest design studio has produced a superbly balanced masterpiece of onboard style, utilising sustainable rich hardwoods, gleaming brass and polished copper, sparkling glass and intricate wrought iron. The ship is beautifully illuminated throughout – including the exterior and imaginatively furnished with harmonious colour schemes, all designed to create the serene atmosphere reflective of the golden age of cruising which time after time you tell us you adore. The restaurant rivals the finest on shore establishments taking fine dining to another level complemented by delicate European porcelain, gleaming glassware and the intuitive service in which the Swiss excel. This superb vessel carries 44 in-house trained crew members serving just 169 guests (similar size vessels may carry well over 190 passengers) giving the ratio which our experience proves is concurrent with our first class service levels. Furthermore your suite will easily exceed your expectations for not only will you enjoy the most discerning décor, so too the ship’s dimensions afford the ultimate in space and comfort - a minimum 17 square metres (183 square feet), with upgrades available to ‘Superior’ and ‘Deluxe’ accommodation.
