Kampong is a city on the Mekong River in south-eastern Cambodia known for its French colonial buildings, towards the south, Koh Pen Island can be reached via a long bamboo bridge. Visit the local markets in the area to pick up gimmicks and goods, as well as meat, spices, clothing, hardware, and toys. Enjoy a sunset boat tour along the Mekong River, where your guide will tell you all about Kampong. Perhaps hire a bicycle and cycle around Koh Paen Island or explore Mountain Pros and Mountain Srey, two mountains located west of the city. Phnom Hanchey Hilltop Temple is a great visit; its striking colours and calm ambience will take your breath away. Head to the top of the French Lookout Tower up the 100 rickety steps for the chance to take in fantastic views of the town.

Phnom Penh is Cambodia's busy capital city. Discover the bustling riverfront on foot or tour the nearby food markets to experience the local cuisine. Take a tuk-tuk to explore Phnom Penh's colonial buildings, the Central Market, and its art deco architecture. Visit the National Museum and Royal Palace, both of which are popular attractions that showcase the history of the region. Alternatively, visit the infamous Killing Fields and tour Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Sa Dec is a Provincial city in Dong Thap Province in the Mekong Delta of southern Vietnam. Wander the small nurseries and canals of Sa Dec Flower Village, most famous for its beautiful roses. Shop in the riverside Night Market lively with restaurants as well as brimming stalls with delicious grilled food. Take a stroll through Tram Chim National Park; perfect for nature lovers to discover over 200 species of bird. A riot of colour, Cao Dai Temple on the far side of the river is a brilliant visit or perhaps marvel at the spectacular architecture of Kim Hue pagoda.

Dock at Phu My and travel to Ho Chi Minh City. Formerly known as Saigon, Vietnam's capital city has a strong heritage and vivid culture with plenty of modern twists.
