The idyllic South Pacific island of Bora Bora sits northwest of Tahiti. This place is paradise found - from its gorgeous lagoon and coral reefs teeming with tropical marine life to the sand-fringed motu islets and mouth-watering local cuisine. Visit the main village of Vaitape and explore the boutiques and eateries. Admire the dormant Mount Otemanu volcano and Mount Pahia on a jeep safari or guided hike. No trip here would be complete without buying a piece of local black pearl jewellery. Take a boat trip to admire the scenic beauty of Ile aux Recifs and Lagon Blu, get up close to the friendly dolphins at Tiputa Pass, or explore the beautiful pink and white coral sands of Rangiroa beach on the southeast side of the atoll.

Take a boat ride to the start of Haikaui Valley and hike to reach Vaipo Waterfall, where you can cool off in the freshwater pool. Shop for Marsquesan crafts at the artisan market; discover why the islanders are some of the best carvers in the South Pacific.
