Tobermory is located on the northern coast of the Isle of Mull; situated in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Visit Mull Museum and see the various artefacts that document Mull’s history. Pay a visit to Mull Aquarium and see the displays of sea creatures. Take a guided tour of the Tobermory Distillery to explore the whisky-making process and sample the end product. Enjoy the changing exhibitions and artworks at the An Tobar Arts Centre. Alternatively, drive for approximately 40 minutes and uncover the history of the MacLean clan and their chiefs in the 13th century keep: Duart Castle.

The ports town of Stornoway sits proudly on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The port of Ullapool is located on the shores of Loch Broom in the county of Ross-shire in the Scottish Highlands. The port is within a short walk of the village; where you can browse arts, crafts and gift stores or sample the local cafes and bistros. Enjoy the multimedia experience at Ullapool Museum within Telford Church. Visit An Talla Solais and see its contemporary art exhibitions.. Ullapool is also conveniently close to Ullapool Golf Club for golf lovers. Alternatively, venture further out and go hiking up nearby mountains such as An Teallach and Beinn Dearg.

Portree, Isle of Skye
Portree is the largest town on the Isle of Skye. Visit Somerled Square in the centre of town with its mercat cross and war memorial, before indulging in retail therapy in the quaint shops on Wentworth Street. Pay a visit to the Aros Centre to discover Skye's history, birdlife and dramatic scenery through interactive exhibits and audio-visual presentations. Head out of town to admire the spectacular scenery of Trotternish Ridge and rock formations such as Kilt Rock, the Old Man of Storr and the pinnacles of the Quaraing.

Islay sits in the Inner Hebrides off Scotland's west coast and was once the seat of the MacDonalds, Lords of the Isles. Known for being the 'Whisky Island' or 'Queen of the Hebrides'; Islay’s main claim to fame is the peaty single-malt whisky produced in its distilleries. The rugged and diverse landscape and ancient Celtic ruins are popular with migrating birds; so don't forget to bring your camera to capture birdlife on a cliff-top walk. Friendly locals, a handful of shops, and a round church with no corners await discovery in Bowmore. Pay a visit to Islay Woollen Mill near Bridgend; which has produced fabrics used in films including Forrest Gump's tweed suit and Mel Gibson's tartan in Braveheart. Venture to the northeast of Islay to explore the two islands dotted with an ancient settlement with medieval tombstones and a pre-historic fort on Loch Finlaggan. The offshore waters are awash with whales, dolphins, and seals; encounter wild deer ashore, and catch sight of golden eagles in the sky above.

Golden Horizon sails into the Tradewind Voyages' fleet in May 2021 and is the world's largest square-rigged sailing vessel. Graceful and beautiful; this near replica of the 1913-build ship, France II, replicates the charm, adventure, and romance of her historic predecessor. Step aboard for a thrilling sailing experience that connects you with the elements of the natural world in a relaxed, casual, and elegant ambience with a maximum of 271 like-minded adventure seekers. Golden Horizon's maiden season takes in the UK, the Maritime Silk Route, a circumnavigation of Australia, and the Indian Ocean. From the Upper Deck via the Main Deck and Gallery Deck to the Marina Deck; highlights include three pools, marina platform, restaurant, four bars, spa, gym, and library. The 140 boutique-style luxury cabins are outside facing to make the most of the unfolding vistas and offer all the modern amenities that enhance your stay. A resident destination speaker will provide guests with engaging insights, specifically related to the voyage and ports of call. This will include geographical, historical and cultural background specific to the itinerary. Visiting speakers will cover subjects ranging from maritime history to astronomy.
