Celebrity Win a Cruise Terms & Conditions
The prize draw (the “Promotion”) is promoted by Hays Travel (the “Promoter”). Registered Office: Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA.
By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over and is a resident of the UK. All entries must be received between the 29th September and 30th October 2023. Entries received after this date will not be eligible for the competition.
Promoter employees or self employed homeworkers and Celebrity Cruises employees are not permitted to enter.
To qualify, one entry per person, per household is permitted. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Prize: Departure on 23 May 2024 or 23 August 2024 Sailings for 4 nights on board Celebrity Apex sailing from Southampton on a cruise-only basis. Based on a pre-allocated Minimum guaranteed Inside Cabin on a full board dining basis for twin or double occupancy.
Prize has no monetary value. No cash alternative will be offered. If the winner chooses not to travel and/or cancels, then no travel or cash alternative will be offered.
If the prize is accepted, then the customer is bound by Hays Travel’s terms and policies which can be found here and Celebrity Cruises booking terms and policies which can be found here.
The Prize does not include travel between the winner’s home address and holiday departure point, return airfare or rail, travel insurance, gratuities, personal expenditure, any incidental costs, onboard beverages and any other food and drink that is not part of the package outlined above. It is essential and the responsibility of the prize-winners to have valid passports as well as all necessary travel insurance, applicable visas and required health certification as required by the cruise line or applicable government agencies at the time of travel (e.g., proof of vaccinations).
The winner will be drawn at random from eligible entries and will be notified by Hays Travel within 7 calendar days from the date of the draw via telephone and/or email.
The winner(s) will have five (7) calendar days from receipt of the winning notification to:
1. Acknowledge the Prize via the instructions in the notification;
2. Provide a valid ID in the form of a passport or driver’s license; and
3. Confirm they wish to accept the Prize.
If a winner does not respond within 7 calendar days of notification, another winner will be selected at random from the remaining entries.
Promoter’s announcement of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter designees and assigns, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrants for any liability, loss, injury, claim, or damage to themselves or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, to participants or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a Prize (including any travel or prize activity related thereto) or participation in this Promotion.
Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions with or without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without liability to any entrant for doing so.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
Winner will be asked to collect prize from their chosen local Hays Travel branch.
Winner may be asked to participate in non-paid publicity.
The winner(s) surnames and counties can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Hays Travel, Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA within thirty (30) calendar days after the Promotion Period. If a winner objects to any or all of their surname and county being made available, the winner must notify the Promoter by writing to the address above, however the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
This offer is subject to the laws of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
If any of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable.
