Scenic Azure was welcomed into the Scenic Cruises fleet in 2016. This custom-built ship was created to sail along Portugal's meandering Douro River with just 96 guests and 53 crew members on board. You'll experience an intimate and friendly on board ambiance and personalised service thanks to the impressive 2:1 guest to crew ratio. Unpack and settle into your luxurious suite; complete with butler service, complimentary minibar, individual climate control, 32-inch HD-TV, and bathroom with L'Occitane toiletries. Many suites also come with a Scenic Sun Lounge to make the most of the sunshine and unfolding views. Explore the four decks - from the Sun Deck with its Vitality Pool and Riverview Terrace and Diamond Deck with its Panorama Lounge and Bar, to Sapphire Deck with its eclectic mix of eateries and the idyllic wellness area on Jewel Deck. Scenic Azure's streamlined design means she can take you to the heart of Europe's famous cities and ports; where you can join an organised excursion or see the sights at your own speed on foot or by E-bike.

Our generously sized suites are elegantly appointed with premium amenities, including a queen-size Scenic Slumber Bed and pillow menu. The Balcony, Junior and Royal Suites on Scenic Azure feature our Scenic Sun Lounges – some of the largest balconies offered on European waterways - so you can relax and view Portuguese the way of life as you cruise by.

Royal One-Bedroom Suite

At 420ft², this is the largest suite on the ship. Located on the Diamond Deck, both suites enjoy fantastic views of the passing scenery from your private balcony complete with Scenic Sun Lounge. Each Suite has a separate lounge area and a luxurious bathroom offering a separate bath and shower.

Standard Suite

Staterooms are located on the Jewel Deck with large picture windows to ensure a great view. They have a spacious design and clever layout alongside all the usual luxurious amenities and furnishings.

The bedroom area has a Queen-size Scenic 'Slumber bed' with Egyptian cotton linen and pillow menu. The bathroom with shower, is well stocked with L'Occitaine toiletries as well as a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. The suite also contains a complimentary in-suite mini-bar, restocked daily. The suite has a Flat screen HDTV linked to Mac Mini, complementary WiFi and use of a telephone. A safe is also provided for your valuables.

Guests staying within this suite receive butler service that includes valet and shoeshine service, drinks and cocktails.
