Roatan (Mahogany Bay), Honduras
Rotatan sits at the heart of the Caribbean Bay Islands in Honduras. This paradise island forms part of the huge Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and is lined with white sandy beaches and tropical fish-filled turquoise waters. Visit the island's capital, Coxen Hole, or spend time at nearby Mahogany Bay. Venture east to Roatan Institute of Marine Sciences, Roatan Museum, Carambola Gardens, and Rotatan Marine Park at the cultural centre of Sandy Bay. Head to the southwest to bustling West Bay Beach with its offshore coral reef. Keep your eyes peeled for the indigenous Lala Monkey, Jesus Lizard, and the Red Lored Parrot, or scuba dive with reef sharks at the Cara a Cara dive site.

Belize City, Belize
The port of Belize City is located in the Central American country of Belize. The city is divided is in two by Haulover Creek with the manually-operated 1920s Swing Bridge linking the two halves together. On the northern side, you can trace the country's history at the Museum of Belize or admire the displays of contemporary art at the Image Factory gallery. To the south, you can visit the historic St John's Cathedral and the fascinating House of Culture. Get up close to the native and rescued animals that roam freely in enclosures at Belize Zoo. Head out of town to Old Belize Beach and spend a few hours sunbathing or enjoy barbecued lobster and rum punch on a visit to Goff's Caye. Alternatively, an hour's drive will take you out to the amazing Altun Ha and Xunantunich Temples.

Cozumel, Mexico
Arrive on the 48km-long and 16km-wide Mexican island of Cozumel in the Caribbean Sea; famous for its chilled-out vibes, stunning scenery, amazing diving sites, rich culture, and wonderful beaches. One of Mexico's most popular ports of call, Cozumel is home to Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park where you can dive around part of the Mesoamerican Reel and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Discover Chankanaab eco-park on a lagoon complete with underwater caverns and awash with manatees, sea turtles, and dolphins. San Miguel reveals the Sea Walls – 36 large-scale public murals created by local and international artists to raise awareness about ocean conservation - vibrant Benito Juárez Plaza, and The Cozumel Museum; and leads to the laid-back beach life on Playa Palancar. Head deep into the jungle to visit the once-sacred Mayan site of San Gervasio.

Fort Lauderdale (Florida), USA
Fort Lauderdale is an exciting city with a laid-back beach atmosphere. Found on the coast, your hotel is ideal for enjoying a range of water sports — from surfing and parasailing, to jet-skiing and scuba-diving. Fort Lauderdale is a popular shopping spot and is home to the planet's largest discount and entertainment mall, Sawgrass Mills. For some of the city's best cafes, boutiques and restaurants, head to Las Olas Boulevard — also known as the 'style mile'. There are kayak tours and gondola rides to explore more of the city, as well as popular wildlife attractions — including the largest butterfly aviary on the continent, Butterfly World, and one of the area's most significant nesting beaches for turtles at Mizell-Johnson State Park. You can find a network of bars, clubs and live music lounges to enjoy late into the night, too.

Princess Cays, Bahamas
The resort of Princess Cays is located at the southern end of the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas and is privately owned by Princess Cruises. Set across 40 acres you'll find 2.5km of white sandy beaches for a few hours of sunbathing and private cabanas available to rent on a quiet section of beach. The adjoining waters are perfect for snorkelling, kayaking, and sailing and the dedicated Pelicans' Perch play area offers hours of fun for the children. The three beach bars serve up tropical cocktails and live music and you can tuck into an authentic Bahamian barbecue on the beach. Shop for traditional souvenirs at the Tropical Treasure and Bahama Treasure boutiques. Venture further afield and discover Rock Sound blow hole and the picturesque fishing village of Tarpum Bay.

Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
The Caribbean cruise port of Amber Cove overlooks the Bay of Maimon on Dominican Republic's northern coastline, just outside Puerto Plata. This 25-acre complex boasts a four-acre Aqua Zone, the unique 360-Degree Bar, plentiful designer shops, a 650-foot-long zipline, water sports, cabanas to hire, and hammocks alongside the water. Pay a visit to the Plastic Artists Art Galleries, Amber Museum, Brugal Rum Factory, San Felipe Fortress, and San Felipe Cathedral in Puerto Plata. Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos
Grand Turk is only 7 miles long and 1.5 miles wide and is the capital island of the Turks and Caicos archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean. Grand Turk is ringed with white beaches and turquoise seas, while the remains of salt ponds and windmills testify to the island's 17th to 20th-century sea salt industry. Don't miss Guanahani Beach where Christopher Columbus first made landfall during his voyage to the New World in 1492. Witness the 19th-century Grand Turk Lighthouse nestling on a rocky bluff to the north; Philatelic Bureau, St Thomas Anglican Church, and Salt Museum are must-sees too. Head to the offshore Gibbs Cay for snorkelling amongst of colourful reef fish, corals, turtles, stingrays, and even small sharks. The island’s capital, Cockburn Town, reveals old Bermudian-style buildings on Duke, Queen, and Front Streets; the colonial-era Her Majesty's Prison’s cells and exercise yard, and the Turks and Caicos National Museum.
