Royal Clipper
Overview
The inspiration for the luxurious Royal Clipper was the 1904-built Preussen and this is now the largest, and only, five-masted sailing ship conceived since that time. With her 42 sails fully deployed she is truly an awesome sight! With state-of- the-art navigation systems, all the comforts you could wish for and 106 crew attending just 223 guests, service levels on board are truly impeccable. The 1,760 square metres of open deck and three swimming pools create a wonderfully spacious outdoor environment and the open-air bar is the ideal place to chat with your like-minded traveling companions, discussing how the ancient Romans lived in Pompeii, why Dubrovnik is called the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ and if the Amalfi coast really is Europe’s most beautiful. As the sun slips gently below the horizon in an explosion of reds and oranges, unwind, sip an aperitif and acknowledge that life really doesn’t get much better than this!

The majestic three-level atrium Dining Room features a single-seating, open-seating dining plan with varied international fare and a no-tie dress code.
Entertainment
Clearly, this is not a cruise ship in the ordinary sense. On Star Clippers, you will find that there are no rigid schedules. You are free to do as you wish with your days – and evenings.

Friends gather round the piano bar and join in singing a few favorites. And in the Tropical Bar, the bartender shakes a pitcher full of some delicious cooling concoction.
The Captain and crew are superb improvisers of the kind of light-hearted fun you’ll only find on Star Clippers. The Captain’s daily briefing on deck is wonderfully informative and a chance to hear some great story-telling as well.

Health & Fitness
The main health & fitness facilities onboard Royal Clipper are the Captain Nemo Lounge, a Thalasso, Health and Beauty Centre. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy some watersports such as snorkelling and kayaking.
Kids & Teens
Children are welcome onboard Star Clippers cruises. While there is no structure programme providing supervision and care for young children, they are invited to participate in shipboard activities suited to their ability. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children occupying cabins as the third person will be charged the third person rate when availability permits.
Terms & Conditions
Lead in fare is based on 2 adults sharing a category 6 cabin unless stated otherwise. Includes return flights, full board cruise, overseas transfers and non-commissionable port charges. Alternative dates and package prices are also available. Single supplement ranges from 50% when booking a category 6 – category 2 cabin and 100% for categories 1 and above. Solo occupancy cabins are capacity controlled and on a request basis. Please enquire about our guaranteed single rate where allocation is assigned upon embarkation. All prices are correct at time of print, are subject to availability and/or change, and can be withdrawn at any time. Package elements are subject to availability, if element becomes unavailable then we will endeavour to find an alternative option. Visits to all ports of call are subject to local government permissions therefore we cannot guarantee disembarkation for UK passengers. Star Clippers cannot be held responsible should government permissions change. It is a requirement that all passengers are covered by appropriate travel insurance for the entire duration of the holiday.
