Iona

Overview

P&O Cruises Iona is designed to bring the outside in. Through innovative design and unique spaces, she connects you with the sea, sky and shoreline. Iona Cruise Ship’s SkyDome – the first of its kind in the cruise industry – is one such space. With its glass dome roof and spacious layout, the ship is flooded with natural light. Step onto one of our Iona cruises to experience a relaxed, poolside environment by day, with tantalising dining and drinking options; then come evening, the space seamlessly transitions into a must-visit entertainment venue, showcasing spectacular aerialist performances and playing host to party nights under the stars.

Sailing on the Iona offers a fun and welcoming space for families, featuring laid-back dining, exciting entertainment, a swimming pool, and room to roam. Iona’s SkyDome is the place to be for relaxation, effortless dining and brilliant entertainment – day or night, whatever the weather.

Browse our hand-picked cruise deals, and secure your spot on an Iona Cruise holiday in 2026 and beyond. Make sure to explore cruise ship deals across the rest of the P&O Cruise fleet too, including the Aurora, Britannia, and more.

Food & Drink

Once you are welcomed aboard one of our Iona cruises, choose from over 15 places to eat to suit all appetites and occasions, including 8 specialty restaurants and more than 6 places to have breakfast.

Entertainment

When you’re not looking up at our impressive SkyDome, take a look at everything else the ship has to offer. Why not relax on deck to soothing sounds from our live musicians, catch a singer in the theatre, stumble upon a busker, party the night away at The Club House, or embrace the air guitar with our epic rock night in a SkyDome? Or perhaps for the ultimate nostalgic evening, take in the sunset views to the tune of a live pianist in a panoramic Crow's Nest. The soundtrack to your holiday onboard one of our Iona cruises is unlimited.

In between live music, theatre productions, movie blockbusters, and more, how about a spot of rib-tickling comedy? You’ll find something for everyone on a P&O Cruises Iona holiday. From family-friendly to adult-only content, all ages can enjoy our comedy shows. Guest comedians step on board to take to the stage and make you laugh. While world-class tribute acts dazzle with such impressive vocals, you won’t believe it isn’t the real deal!

Health & Fitness

Feel truly rejuvenated by taking a trip on an Iona cruise ship. Choose from 18 whirlpools and 4 swimming pools (three outside and one inside).

Kids & Teens

Keep the family entertained on a Iona Cruise. Run by a team of passionate and dedicated professionals, The Reef provides a perfect environment for our younger travellers to create their own holiday memories. For toddlers to teens, we’ve soft play, imaginative spaces and high-energy activities plus gaming, DJ equipment, and arts and crafts. There's also action-packed outdoor spaces including a climbing wall, football court, and splash zone to keep them cool on a hot day. Pre-registration is essential.
