Cannes, France

The resort town of Cannes sits at the heart of the French Riviera. Stroll along Boulevard de la Croisette and admire the Palais des Festival et des Congres - home to Cannes Film Festival - and the handprints of famous movie stars at nearby Allee des Etoiles. Pay a visit to the impressive 17th-century Madonna on the high altar at Notre-Dame de l'Esperance church. Explore the antiquities, artworks, and musical instruments on display at Musee de la Castre or discover contemporary art at Le Malmaison Museum. Shopping is a pleasure in Cannes - whether it's at the daily Forville Market or the boutiques on La Croisette, Rue D'Antibes, and Rue Meynardier. Venture up Mont Chevalier to enjoy the old world charm of Le Suquet with Eglise du Suquet and Tour du Mont Chavalier just waiting to be admired too.

Provence (Toulon), France

Your stepping stone to the fields of lavender of Provence and charming villages like Cassis or Les Baux. Drop into one of the restaurants around the colourful Vieux Port (old harbour) and order Bouillabaisse, the hearty fish stew invented here.

Valencia, Spain

Situated on the east coast of Spain, Valencia blends history and culture with innovation and modernity. Although 4km from the port, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is the central square and affords easy access to the city's many attractions. From the museums and art galleries to the famous cafes, bars and restaurants of Barrio del Carmen, there’s plenty of Spanish heritage to soak up in the old quarter of the city. At the other end of the spectrum, the City of Arts and Sciences is Valencia’s most prominent landmark and brings futuristic architecture and contemporary facilities to the heart of the city.

Day 7-8

Ibiza, Spain

Ibiza Town is the capital and largest city on the Balearic island of Ibiza, it has something for everyone! This port city overlooks the Mediterranean and is a culture lover’s paradise. Visit the ancient walled fortress of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed site, and explore the cobbled streets, churches, cathedrals, chapels, archaeological museum, and Museum of Contemporary Art. The nearby Necropolis Puig des Molins boasts thousands of underground tombs which are just ripe for exploring. People-watch with a coffee or a glass of wine in lively Plaza del Parque. Shop for local products and souvenirs at Mercat Vell or window-shop for designer wear in La Marina district. Spend a few hours enjoying the golden sands of Talamanca, Figuertes, and Playa D'En Bossa beaches.

Barcelona, Spain to UK - Barcelona, Spain to UK (Disembarkation Day)

Today your cruise comes to an end. Disembark the ship and be transferred to the airport and board your return flight home.

Resilient Lady

Overview

Resilient Lady joins the Virgin Voyages fleet in 2022 and is the third of four ships on order. She is being built for Sailors aimed at like-minded travellers seeking a 24/7 festival at sea with no kids, no set dining times, no buffets, and no limits. An eye-catching mystical Mermaid adorns Resilient Lady’s bow and, in her maiden season, she’ll set sail with a maximum of 2,700 Sailors aboard for seven-night itineraries to the Mediterranean out of Barcelona. Her 1400 cabins and suites are an experience in themselves - especially the 78 Tom Dixon-designed RockStar Quarters - 93% boast a sea view and 86% have a balcony. Basic drinks, tips, and round-the-clock dining are all included in the cruise fare with 20 unique restaurants, cafes, lounges, and eateries just waiting to be discovered. The Vitamin Sea concept includes detoxing and retoxing pursuits so you return home refreshed and rejuvenated after your cruise experience. Virgin Voyages also aims to be environment-friendly by banning single-use plastics and by using recyclable and reusable materials on board. More time in each port and occasional overnight stays allow you to savour thrilling off-the-beaten-track experiences.
