Barcelona, Spain
Day 2
Palma De Mallorca, Spain
Palma sits on the south coast of Balearic island of Majorca and is the island's capital city. The streets of this vibrant port city are lined with an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, galleries, shops, and heritage buildings. Explore the narrow alleys and lanes of the old town, before spending time at the impressive Palma Cathedral. Indulge in retail therapy on Avenida Jaume III, Passeig de Born, and the streets around the Placa Major. Palma Aquarium, Bellver Castle and the Joan Miro Foundation are well worth a visit, too. The dolphin, sea lion and parrot shows at Marineland and Poble Espanyol — a collection of Spain's famous buildings in miniature — are great for family times. Or why not take a scenic train ride to the town of Soller or travel inland to the Caves of Drach?

Provence (Marseille), France
Your stepping stone to the fields of lavender of Provence and charming villages like Cassis or Les Baux. Drop into one of the restaurants around the colourful Vieux Port (old harbour) and order Bouillabaisse, the hearty fish stew invented here.

Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy
The Italian port of Livorno gives you access to both Florence and Pisa. Florence is the capital of the Tuscany region and the centre of Italian Renaissance. Explore Italy's greatest artistic treasures; Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Piazza Duomo with its world famous dome. No visit would be complete without stopping by the Uffizi Gallery and admiring the panoramic views of Florence from the 19th-century Pizzale Michelangelo.
