MS Trollfjord joined the Hurtigruten fleet in 2002 as sister ship to MS Midnatsol. Setting sail with a maximum of 500 passengers, this popular cruise ship takes in Norway's dramatic coastline and the wonders of the Arctic Circle. Step on board and discover a comfortable interior that showcases a beautiful two-tier lounge, exclusive concierge area, local Norwegian wood and stonework, and walls adorned with original art and photographs. MS Trollfjord focuses on vibrant and exciting experiences ashore, alongside amazing sights you can enjoy on deck as you cruise around Norway and beyond. Whatever time of year you choose, the Northern Lights in winter and summer time midnight sun are undoubtedly highlights of your cruise. Days at sea open up a world of relaxation. Relax on the sun deck during the summer and curl up with a book in the library on cooler days. Keep your family up-to-date with your adventures in the Internet cafe or simply watch the world float by in the chic Panorama Lounge. You can also keep in shape at Trim Fitness or simply unwind in the sauna. Discover fun times for children in the small, on-board playroom.

Culinary Encounters
The produce and culinary heritage of Norway’s coast is at the heart of your experience on board MS Trolljord. New ports mean new suppliers to work with, new ingredients to play with and new stories to tell. The ship’s peerless menus, cocktails and food courses are inspired by them all, as well as archive menus and age-old Norwegian preservation techniques.
MS Trollfjord’s strikingly reimagined three restaurants, bar and new live show cooking features offer an exciting flavour of Norway’s past, present and future. Each one embraces traditional preservation methods that have been tried and trusted by Norwegians through 1,000 Arctic winters, such as drying, fermenting and salting. On board, you can eat dry-aged beef served by a chef with a story about the meat’s provenance, drink beer made from water sourced in Trollfjord, and learn all about the distinctly Nordic spirit aquavit.
Best of all, the journey from fjord or field to fork is short but deliciously sweet. As we sail, you’ll pass the very fjords that gave us our fish, the mountains that grew our herbs and the slopes that reared our lamb.
Entertainment
Laid-back and casual sums up the entertainment scene on MS Trollfjord. The Panorama Lounge plays host to seminars on local wildlife and natural phenomena, such as the stunning Northern Lights. Occasional live bands and piano music are the perfect background to your evenings on board, too.
