Viking Jupiter

Overview

Viking Jupiter sailed into the Viking Ocean Cruises' fleet in 2018. This award-winning, all-veranda ship sails around the Mediterranean, Europe, South America, and beyond with a maximum of 930 guests on board. Viking Jupiter's ten passenger decks are lined with round-the-world dining venues, vibrant bars and peaceful lounges, a pool area with hot tub and retractable roof, a fun sports deck, indulgent spa, and a multi-purpose theatre. Each of the staterooms feature a veranda with ocean views, a 42-inch flat-screen LCD TV, large bathroom with walk-in shower, luxury robes, slippers, and premium Freya toiletries, daily-replenished minibar with soft drinks, water, and snacks, 24-hour room service, and Wi-Fi access. The ship drops anchor at fascinating ports of call, where you can explore independently or join a guided shore excursion.

Food & Drink

Dine from a menu of daily-changing dishes and chef's specials in The Restaurant. Mamsen's serves a selection of Norwegian-inspired dishes including pastries, cakes, waffles, sandwiches, and late-night soups. Discover live cooking, an open kitchen, premium sushi/seafood, and international flavours at the casual World Café; savour light bites and ever-changing views at the adjoining open-air Aquavit Terrace. Feast on freshly-cooked burgers and pizzas al fresco at The Pool Grill. Rustic Tuscan dishes are served in Manfredi's Italian Restaurant or enjoy a traditional afternoon tea service and light bites in The Wintergarden. Viking Bar is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks and to socialise with your fellow guests late into the evening. The Kitchen Table offers an optional interactive culinary journey with cooking classes on days at sea and shopping/cooking events with world-class chefs on days in port. The Viking Cruise's Enrichment Program features world-class lectures on art and history, wine tastings from various destinations, and traditional performances and music acts; many of which can be enjoyed from the comfort of a spacious sofa in The Theatre. Visit The Living Room for music from the classical trio or the pianist at the Steinway piano. Torshavn nightspot is perfect for night owls with live jazz music and late night dancing to the resident band.
