Leixoes (tours to Porto), Portugal
Port of Leixões is the main harbour serving the city of Porto in northern Portugal. Famous for being associated with the shipping of port wine, it's also a great starting point for on-shore excursions.
The small city of Leixões is home to a sandy beach, old fortifications, and several bars and restaurants scattered around its port area. The historic centre of nearby Porto is an UNESCO World Heritage site and home to an 18th-century cathedral and a 19th-century palace.
