Overview
Here she is, our flagship of the fleet, our first lady of the sea: Ambience. Derived from the French word for ‘surrounding’, our ambition at Ambassador is to create the optimum atmosphere onboard; one that brings out the best in each of us. The perfect ambience.
With an average 1,400-guest capacity and careful configuration, she offers both a feeling of spaciousness and freedom, whilst retaining that sense of intimacy and camaraderie we each crave; it’s whatever makes you comfortable.
Entertainment-wise, she really will spoil you for choice. Let your hair down at the Observatory and bring out your finest ensembles for The Palladium. Whether you like it shaken or stirred, she has numerous bars to whet your whistle, including Raffles Bar, Botanical Lounge, SW19 and The Purple Turtle Pub.
Dining options are plentiful at our Buckingham restaurant or the Borough Market, with plentiful cuisine options, and for those wanting to soak in nature’s glory, we have our glorious Alfresco Grill. Wining and dining are more than fine at Saffron*, Sea & Grass* or our deluxe Chef’s Table*, where we offer a speciality gastronomic experience that’s not to be missed.
Put your best cards forward at Aces & Eights bridge and card room and the Ambassador Casino, or revive and renew at the gym and Wellness Centre. Other facilities include Kapoor’s, our onboard crafting studio, Brontë’s library, the shopping galleria, not to mention a swimming pool, two hot tubs and a large screen for outdoor movies. Dining with Ambassador is always tailored to you but exceptional service, authentic flavours and cherry-on-top surroundings are guaranteed each and every meal. So, whether it’s a full English for breakfast, a casual lunch, or a six-course gala dinner, your dining wish is our desire!
One of life’s simplest pleasures is coming together over great food, which, of course, gets better when you’re breathing in the sea breeze in between bites. We’ve carefully crafted menus to blend traditional plates with locally inspired cuisine, letting our dish choices be crafted by the itineraries themselves - giving you a taste of the finer things in life.
We’ve got venues for every mood, from quaint and traditional afternoon high teas to decadent gala dinners alongside your Captain. Why not expand your taste buds at our VIP Chef’s Table* for a glittering gastronomic experience, enjoy a taste sensation at speciality restaurants, Saffron* (offering Indian fusion cuisine) or Sea & Grass* (premium steak and grills), or watch the world go by peacefully at our Alfresco Grill?
Breakfast and lunch are generally served on an open seating basis, giving you and your appetite plenty of choice. With dinner, we operate two sittings, which can be requested when booking your cruise. We cater for all, so if you have any dietary requirements, then just let us know in advance.

Kids & Teens
Although Ambience essentially operates for adults only, we are offering a selection of multi-generational cruises in school holidays, with no age restriction. These cruises enable the whole family to spend quality time together.
Please note that there are no specific children’s facilities on board.

Fares subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed without notice. 30% off second guest is valid on new bookings only on specific sailings from 08:00 13th February 2025 until 23:59, 2nd April 2025 inclusive. See website for full list of sailings. Offer is valid for up to two adults paying the Saver or Ambassador fare (cruise fare only), 3rd/4th berth are not eligible for the 30% discount. All offers are capacity controlled and subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice at any time. Promotion is structured as first guest paying full Saver or Ambassador Fare and second guest, sharing the same cabin, gets 30% off full saver or Ambassador fare (cruise fare only). Both booked fares must be the same to get the promotional offer. The 30% discount has already been applied to the cruise fare price for the second guest. Guests booking the Ambassador fare will also get 15% off our Expedition drinks package, the discount has already been calculated into the overall Ambassador fare price. Please note this promotion is not applicable to any festive/in port events or any booking made outside of the promotional dates. It is only applicable to the lead booked guest and secondary guest in each cabin over the age of 18 and is not applicable to any 3rd/4th berth guest or any child under 18 travelling. Solo travellers will get 15% off the applicable full single saver or Ambassador fare over the same period on the selected sailings. See website for full list of sailings. The 15% discount has already been applied to the cruise fare price for the solo fare. Solo Fares are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed without notice. Extras not included: Travel insurance, travel costs to/from the port of embarkation, port parking, onboard gratuities and service charges where a package has not been purchased (automatically billed to the onboard account), optional shore excursions, discretionary expenditure of a personal nature including hot and cold alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, gifts, shopping, laundry, WIFI & communication, and any visa & health certificate charges that may apply. Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right to cancel, change or amend any theme cruise activities/speakers/acts at short notice. In the event of your cruise being cancelled, you will be guaranteed a full refund.
