Date 4th Feb 27
Nights 8 Nights
Day 1
Tromso, Norway
Day 2
Honningsvåg, Norway
Honningsvåg is your gateway to Norway's North Cape on Magerøya Island. Located in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county; this is the northernmost city in mainland Norway and the true land of the Midnight Sun. From mid-May to July, the full disc of the sun never dips below the horizon. In winter, the days barely lighten to a spectral gloom. To the north lies only the remote Svalbard Archipelago, Jan Mayan Island, and the polar ice cap. From the cliffs of the North Cape, perched 1,000 feet above the Arctic Ocean, you can literally stare into the Arctic silence. During the summer months, vast reindeer herds roam Magerøya Island's treeless, central plateau.
Day 3
Alta, Norway
Alta stretches along 15km of coastline in the Finnmark County in Norway. Inhabited by the indigenous Sami people since prehistoric times; Alta is considered to be one of the best places to experience the Midnight Sun in the summer and see the Northern Lights in the winter. Gaze in awe at the modern-style Northern Lights Cathedral; explore the UNESCO-listed ancient rock carvings at Alta Museum and Hjemmeluft; and then enjoy the thrill of husky sledding and snowmobiling through Arctic landscapes. Altafjord and Altaelva River offer some of the best salmon fishing in the world. Don't miss a visit to the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel - a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Day 4
Narvik, Norway
Step ashore in Narvik in northern Norway. This wild and dramatic town is surrounded by islands to the west, stunning fjords to the north and south, and mountains in every direction. The clear skies above Narvik are great for admiring the Northern Lights in late autumn through to spring or to experience the Midnight Sun from May to the end of July. Go fishing in Ofotjorden or try skiing and hiking in the mountains. Ride the cable car to Narvikfjellet for amazing views and take a scenic ride on the Oftobanen Railway to Sweden. Admire the exhibits on display at Ofoten Museum, Narvik War Museum, and Red Cross War Museum. Encounter wolves, brown bears, arctic foxes, and reindeers at Polar Park. Head to Narvik's hydropower station at 13:00 or 21:00 to admire the impressive 75-metre-high plume of water that spurts skywards from the water spout.
Day 5
Cruising
Day 6
Åndalsnes, Norway
Åndalsnes sits on the idyllic shores of the Romsdalsfjord. Natural attractions such as the Rauma River, Vermafossen and Slettafossen waterfalls, Trollveggen (the Troll Wall), and Trollstigen Road are just waiting to be discovered. Hike up to the Rampestreken viewpoint for panoramic views of Åndalsnes or take a ride on the Raumabanen railway to admire the dramatic scenery at a leisurely pace. Climb up one of Norway's highest indoor climbing walls at the Norwegian Mountaineering Museum or explore the world of wool production at Rauma Ullvarefabrikk yarn factory.
Day 7
Bergen, Norway
The charming port city of Bergen is framed by seven hills on Norway's south-west shore. Bergen’s bustling waterfront and narrow streets of colourful half-timbered houses combine with a proud musical and maritime heritage. Ride the funicular railway up Mount Floyen for city views. Visit Troldhaugen Museum to see Edvard Grieg's musical heritage comes to life or explore the artwork on display at KODE. The 900-year-old Bryggen, a wharf that features museums and pubs, guides you through the city's sea-faring past, while locally-caught seafood can be found at Bergen Fish Market. Discover family fun at Bergen Science Centre and Bergen Aquarium or explore the city's sights on a Segway tour.
Day 8
Kristiansand, Norway
Situated in on the southern tip of Norway, Kristiansand and its old town Posebyen are home to traditional wooden houses and the neo-Gothic Kristiansand Cathedral. The Sørlandets Museum displays Norwegian art from 1800; take time to discover the Bystranda city beach and 17th-century Christiansholm Fortress rotunda on your adventure along the shorefront. Marvel at the spectacular lighthouse and art of Odderøya or attend an unforgettable concert or theatrical performance at Kilden Performing Arts Centre. Come together as a family to check out Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park to hop on themed rides, experience the thrilling waterpark, and get a glimpse at a range of exotic regional animals.

Food & Drink

The peerless dishes, drinks, and dining experiences proudly present Norwegian cuisine at its finest.

The produce and culinary heritage of Norway's coast is at the heart of your experience on an all-inclusive Signature voyage.

Our three onboard restaurants offer an exciting flavour of Norway’s past, present, and future. Each one embraces traditional preservation methods that have been tried and trusted by Norwegians through thousands of Arctic winters, such as drying, fermenting, and salting.

Our talented team of chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers have gathered, refined, and reimagined recipes from across Norway, past and present, crafting them into the most delicious dishes and drinks for a true feast for your senses.

While sailing on a Signature Voyage, you can eat dry-aged beef served by a chef with a story about the meat’s provenance, drink beer made from water sourced in the Trollfjord, and learn all about the distinctly Nordic spirit, aquavit.

Best of all, the journey from fjord or field to fork is short but deliciously sweet. As we sail, you’ll pass the very fjords that gave us our fish, the mountains that grew our herbs, and the pastures that reared our lamb.

Onboard Tastings and demonstrations

While sailing with us you won’t just visit the ports of the Norwegian coast – you’ll taste them too.

Depending on what’s in season, you might get to sample cured reindeer from Finnmark, shrimp freshly caught from the icy waters of Lyngenfjord, or even Norway’s golden nectar – aquavit.

Join our chefs and mixologists as they share the stories behind each product and its roots along the coast.

Entertainment
Laid-back and casual sums up the entertainment scene on MS Trollfjord. The Panorama Lounge plays host to seminars on local wildlife and natural phenomena, such as the stunning Northern Lights. Occasional live bands and piano music are the perfect background to your evenings on board, too.
