Serene temples rub shoulders with towering skyscrapers; which contrast with colonial landmarks such as the Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, and the Reunification Palace. Shop for bargains and local handicrafts in the bustling Binh Tay Market and enjoy the light-hearted entertainment at the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre. View the poignant exhibits at the War Remnants Museum and uncover the country's historical past at the Museum of Vietnamese History. No trip here would be complete without heading into the countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a maze of underground passageways used as hideouts by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.

Sa Dec is a Provincial city in Dong Thap Province in the Mekong Delta of southern Vietnam. Visit the atmospheric 1895 Huynh Thuy Old House along the riverfront, once the residence of a son of a rich Chinese family. Wander the small nurseries and canals of Sa Dec Flower Village, most famous for its beautiful roses. Shop in the riverside Night Market lively with restaurants as well as brimming stalls with delicious grilled food. Take a stroll through Tram Chim National Park; perfect for nature lovers to discover over 200 species of bird. A riot of colour, Cao Dai Temple on the far side of the river is a brilliant visit or perhaps marvel at the spectacular architecture of Kim Hue pagoda.

Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh is Cambodia's busy capital city. Discover the bustling riverfront on foot or tour the nearby food markets to experience the local cuisine. Take a tuk-tuk to explore Phnom Penh's colonial buildings, the Central Market, and its art deco architecture. Visit the National Museum and Royal Palace, both of which are popular attractions that showcase the history of the region. Alternatively, visit the infamous Killing Fields and tour Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Kampong is a city on the Mekong River in south-eastern Cambodia known for its French colonial buildings, towards the south, Koh Pen Island can be reached via a long bamboo bridge. Visit the local markets in the area to pick up gimmicks and goods, as well as meat, spices, clothing, hardware, and toys. Enjoy a sunset boat tour along the Mekong River, where your guide will tell you all about Kampong. Perhaps hire a bicycle and cycle around Koh Paen Island or explore Mountain Pros and Mountain Srey, two mountains located west of the city. Phnom Hanchey Hilltop Temple is a great visit; its striking colours and calm ambience will take your breath away. Head to the top of the French Lookout Tower up the 100 rickety steps for the chance to take in fantastic views of the town.

Designed with a low draft - meaning the ship sits higher in the water and can navigate shallower channels - the Riviera Alba is perfectly suited to explore the captivating waterways between Saigon and Siem Reap. The ship’s refined interiors, panoramic windows, and open deck spaces invite guests to unwind and take in the ever-changing scenery of the Mekong River.

On board, guests enjoy a high crew-to-guest ratio and attentive service throughout.
