The prize draw (the “Promotion”) is promoted by Hays Travel (the “Promoter”). Registered Office: Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA.

By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. The competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over and is a resident of the UK. APT policy dictates that a minor or young adult under the age of 18 must be accompanied in the same stateroom.
2. Promoter employees are not permitted to enter.
3. To qualify, one entry per person, per household is permitted. No purchase is necessary to enter.
4. Prize: Winning entrant will win an 8 day Travelmarvel ‘Rhine & Moselle Christmas Markets’ river cruise for two adults, twin share, travelling between Amsterdam & Basel (or reverse).
1. Inclusions:
1. 7 nights’ accommodation in a Twin Window (Cat E) cabin onboard a Travelmarvel Contemporary river ship.
2. All meals as per itinerary, plus complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch & dinner onboard.
3. All sightseeing excursions, as per itinerary.
4. Scheduled arrival and departure transfers between the airport and ship in Amsterdam and Basel.
5. All tipping, taxes and port charges
6. Return economy class flights from the UK
2. The prize is valid for travel on scheduled departures on 8 or 15 December 2023 and is subject to availability at the time of booking.
3. Prize has no monetary value. No cash alternative will be offered. If the winner chooses not to travel and/or cancels, then no travel or cash alternative will be offered.
4. If the prize is accepted then the customer is bound by Hays Travel’s and APT’s booking terms and policies.
5. Prize does not include travel insurance, shore excursions, personal expenditure, any taxes paid locally or other incidental costs. It is essential and the responsibility of the prize-winners to have valid passports as well as all necessary travel insurance, applicable visas and required health certification as required by the cruise line or applicable government agencies at the time of travel (e.g. proof of vaccinations).
6. Return economy flights from selected UK airports will be booked by APT up to a maximum value of £250 per person. Flights are subject to availability at time of booking and any surcharges above this will need to be paid at time of booking. Airline carrier and flight routing is at APT’s discretion and no credit will be issued for any unused allowance.
7. Cabin upgrades can be made at the winner’s expense and will be subject to availability at the time of booking.
8. winner and their companion must travel together at all times during their holiday.
5. The winner will be drawn at random from eligible and will be notified by Hays Travel within 7 calendar days from the date of the draw via telephone and/or email.
6. The winner(s) will have five (7) calendar days from receipt of the winning notification to:
1. Acknowledge the Prize via the instructions in the notification;
2. Provide a valid ID in the form of a passport or driver’s license; and
3. Confirm they wish to accept the Prize.
7. If a winner does not respond within 7 calendar days of notification, another winner will be selected at random from the remaining entries.
8. Promoter’s announcement of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. It is a condition of entry that the winner and their companion have comprehensive travel insurance (at their own expense) for use in conjunction with the prize. The winner and their companion must take out travel insurance covering accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable), and personal liability. The winner and their guest are required to carry proof of insurance with them and produce it if reasonably requested by APT’s employees or suppliers.
10. Visas may be required and are not included in the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion have valid passports and travel insurance, to ensure they meet any entry/travel/local requirements for all countries visited and obtain any necessary vaccinations for their trip at their own expense – including being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
11. It is the winner and their companion’s responsibility to advise APT of any pre-existing medical conditions that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of them requiring medical attention, or that might affect the normal conduct of a trip and the enjoyment of other trip members. APT reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel the booking if it is deemed that the winner or their companion is not suitable for the trip.
12. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. No credit will be given if the full value of the prize is not utilised on one cruise. The prize is subject to APT’s general information and conditions.
13. The prize is not combinable with APT Club benefits and does not count toward the winner or companion’s Club tier level.
14. Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions with or without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without liability to any entrant for doing so.
15. The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of similar value will be provided.
16. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of APT. Accordingly APT may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the prize and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to APT as a result thereof.
17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
18. Winner will be asked to collect prize from their chosen local Hays Travel branch.
19. Winner may be asked to participate in non-paid publicity.
20. The winner(s) surnames and counties can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Hays Travel, Gilbridge House, Keel Square, Sunderland SR1 3HA within thirty (30) calendar days after the Promotion Period. If a winner objects to any or all of their surname and county being made available, the winner must notify the Promoter by writing to the address above, however the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
21. This offer is subject to the laws of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
22. If any of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable.
