Alesund, Norway
The port town of Ålesund is spread across several islands on the west coast of Norway; it was rebuilt in 1904 following a huge fire and now features stunning Art Nouveau architecture. Pay a visit to the Ålesund's Holmbua landmark by the harbour - an 1861 warehouse which houses the fishing displays of Ålesund Museum - before exploring The Art Nouveau Centre. Relax with coffee and cake in a pavement cafe or dine on locally-caught fish in one of the many restaurants. Walk up Mount Aksla for spectacular views; see the time capsule and Viking ship replicas at Jugendstilsenteret and Sunnmore Museums; and feed the fish at Atlanterhavsparken. Early Saver prices shown are per person based on two adults sharing the lowest grade of cabin available within the applicable cabin type. Prices are subject to availability and may go up or down. Bookings are made at the relevant cabin grade and a cabin number is allocated by P&O Cruises prior to departure. Dining preferences are not guaranteed. Shuttle buses in ports are an additional cost. Early Saver prices apply to new bookings only.
