Overview

Experience all-inclusive luxury on our first boutique ship

Our first-ever boutique ship has been making waves since her launch in 2019.

With the stylings of a top London hotel, we designed Spirit of Discovery so our guests can enjoy exceptional cruises in all-inclusive luxury. Modern yet classic, every cabin on the ship has a balcony as standard, for private views of every destination you visit.

Her other world-class facilities include all-inclusive bars and lounges, a West End-style theatre, sumptuous spa, large outdoor lido and swimming pool, plus an exciting line up of free-to-dine speciality restaurants.

Spirit of Discovery - The Grand Dining Room

Food & Drink

Fine dining is one of the biggest attractions of the ship, and you can look forward to a range of contrasting restaurants, all serving world-class dishes day and night.

The main dining venues are The Grand Dining Room and more informal Grill, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here, open seating is the norm, so you can dine whenever you like within the opening hours.

Entertainment

There are multiple venues for entertainment, so you’re free to choose what and where to spend your time. Enjoy a colourful show in the epic Playhouse theatre, or alternative entertainment in the Britannia Lounge where you can dance the night away. This can include guest musicians and singers, classical concerts and soloists. The Club by Jools also offers live shows from musical ensembles.

From bow to stern, every aspect of our luxury, boutique ship has been designed to surprise and amaze, and that includes all of our on-board bar areas. Whether you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a quiet drink, or a more lively setting in which to socialise or enjoy some entertainment, you’re spoilt for choice with the bars on Spirit of Discovery.

Saga reserves the right to select the most appropriate form of transport and/or domestic airport for your journey. ‡Travel insurance is underwritten by Astrenska Insurance Limited, and includes up to £5m coronavirus emergency medical cover. A price reduction is available if you choose not to take the included insurance and additional cancellation cover. Cover is subject to a few medical questions. Pre-departure cancellation cover is provided by Saga, and only available when taking the included optional travel insurance. #All-inclusive includes a choice of wines, Saga premium branded spirits, cocktails, draught beer and lager, non-alcoholic cocktails, all mixers and soft drinks. *As we’re cruising out the UK, you can virtually pack as much as you like, just be mindful that the cases must fit into your chauffeured car. We also request that you ensure no single item exceeds 25kg, so our crew are able to carry it safely when you arrive at the ship.
